ABA glossary
Anticipatory responding
Definition
Responding before the instruction or target stimulus has been presented. The response is not yet under control of the SD, so it is usually treated as an error or blocked.
Example from a session
Before the RBT finishes saying "touch red," the learner grabs the card in the same spot as last time.
