Back-filling data
Also called backfilling data
Definition
Filling in a data sheet after the session from memory, or adding entries for trials that were not observed, while presenting the data as if they were recorded live. It makes the data unreliable and can amount to falsification.
Example from a session
At the end of the day, an RBT writes trial-by-trial data for a morning session she did not record.
