Incidental teaching
Definition
A naturalistic procedure in which the learner's initiation toward an item or activity signals a teaching opportunity; the adult prompts a more elaborate response, then provides what was sought.
Example from a session
Jae reaches for the bubbles, the RBT prompts "bubbles please," and then blows bubbles.
