ABA glossary
Inference
Definition
A conclusion about behavior that goes beyond what was actually measured. The more inference a measure requires, the less confident you can be that it reflects the behavior.
Example from a session
Concluding that a learner can read because his worksheet is complete assumes no one helped him.
