ABA glossary
Plain language
Definition
Clear, everyday wording without jargon, so that families and other non-specialists can understand and act on what is said or written.
Example from a session
Instead of "we'll implement DRA with EXT," a BCBA says "we'll praise him for asking for a break and stop letting screaming end the task."
