Play condition
Definition
The usual control condition in a functional analysis: preferred items and attention are given freely, no demands are made, and problem behavior has no programmed consequence. Behavior is expected to stay low.
Example from a session
The learner plays with toys while the therapist chats often, and hitting rarely occurs.
