ABA glossary
Receiving feedback
Also called accepting feedback
Definition
Responding to feedback in a way that lets it help: listening without interrupting or arguing, asking clarifying questions, thanking the person, and changing the behavior.
Example from a session
After a parent says the home program feels rushed, the BCBA listens, asks which parts, thanks her, and shortens the routine.
