Response class hierarchy
Definition
A predictable order in which members of one functional response class occur, where a later member tends to appear when an earlier one is not reinforced or is blocked.
Example from a session
A child first whines for a toy; if whining is ignored, the child screams; if screaming is ignored, the child hits.
