Steady state responding
Also called stable data, steady state
Definition
A pattern of responding that shows relatively little variation in level or trend over a period of time. Stable data make prediction, and therefore comparison across phases, possible.
Example from a session
The analyst waits until baseline holds near 8 responses per session for five sessions before starting treatment.
