Brief functional analysis
Definition
A shortened functional analysis using only one or two short sessions per condition, often followed by a contingency reversal to confirm the result.
Example from a session
In one 90-minute clinic visit, a team runs 5-minute attention, escape, and play sessions, then a session reinforcing a mand instead.
