Client-informed goals
Definition
Treatment goals chosen with meaningful input from the client and, as appropriate, caregivers, so they reflect the person's own preferences, values, and priorities rather than only the clinician's view.
Example from a session
A teenager says he wants to order food on his own at restaurants, so ordering becomes a priority goal.
