Termination criteria
Also called stopping rules, session termination criteria
Definition
Rules set before an assessment session begins that say when to stop it early for safety, such as a set number of responses or any injury above a set severity.
Example from a session
An FA plan states that a session ends at once if head hitting causes redness or swelling, and the nurse checks the client.
